      Subject – Wessex 4×4 Response are a voluntary organisation similar to Freewheelers. They are called out for emergency situations, such as flood, snow, gas leaks, any situation where they can get to where other vehicles can’t. i.e. they will pick up Drs. or nurses, midwives to take them to a situation. They will also be asked to collect food etc. from a supermarket and take to residents that may have had to be evacuated due to emergency situations.
